I forgot to write about the Stickerbugs!

We discovered that there is this strange bug in Texas called a Stickerbug. It looks like the little burs that stick to our clothes in the Northwest, but it's a bug. Yup. Totally gross in my opinion. Tanner said that one attached itself to Kate's clothing and she was crying. He only discovered that there was an actual bug on her when one of the kids told him that he wasn't looking "careful enough" and that she probably had a "stickerbug". So, he searched her clothes more carefully and lo, and behold, there was this little tiny round ball. When he tried to take it off of her pants, he said that it stung him like a stinging nettle. Shudder. I'm just glad that I wasn't the parent dealing with that. Everyone who knows me, knows my fear of bugs.
