Today we spent the entire morning shopping for tools and supplies. We bought a post hole digger, a second drill, broom, bucket, mop, and disinfectant. We also decided to rent a Uhaul rather than buy a truck right now. We're so close to A&M that a second car doesn't really seem necessary.
Tanner called a couple of plumbers and electricians and a window guy, so hopefully they all show up at their schedule times tomorrow so that we can get the show on the road. Isn't that funny? We actually have appointments within 24hrs of our phone calls.
We also were invited to church by a Starbucks barista. I guess Tanner was in Starbucks yesterday and talked with the barista who told him that she had just graduated and would start her first "real" job on Monday. Then we came in today with all of our kids, and she started talking with us. We told her about Hinson Baptist, and she invited us to check out her church (Central Baptist) on Suday. She said they have a huge orchestra, so...I'm hoping we like it. I'd love to get into a church orchestra.
